Land offers a personal look into the sociopolitical landscape in Poland—shaped by the lasting influence of John Paul II, the presence of a strong far-right ideology, and the contradictions that often exist side by side in everyday life and shared spaces.
The photos were taken during time spent in Koszalin, my hometown, and while traveling through the country. The goal isn’t to capture a complete picture of Poland, a task both reductive and unfeasible, but to connect with particular places, moods, and moments as they unfolded.
This work isn’t meant to explain or resolve anything. It invites reflection and engagement with what resists simplification.
