Dad is a conceptual body of work that explores whether it is possible to recover from the psychological strains left by the schizophrenic father. Through a series of images, the project becomes a visual journey into his fractured mind and the communist regime under which he spent most of his life.
The work uses a range of techniques, including photo collages with drawings by Alfred Kubin and the physical distressing of photographs to evoke visceral responses in viewers.
